• The Audio Output of the TV has to be connected to the Transmitter of the Sony MDRRF985RK Headphones. After that, the Transmitter and the Headphones would communicate wirelessly. The reception range is up to 45 meters (150 feet). You can use the Headphones in a different room as long as it is within the reception range.

• No. These headphones have horrible sound to begin with, and moving around, let alone going to another room, it will cut out.
