Really believe you would be better off on all counts to buy two complete units. You will need two Y cords attached to L and R audio outputs on the TV. Even if you can find an extra headset you will only have one recharger. Do not know about your life but in mine having something work when we go to use it is a plus. A dead battery on one headset will not work out well.
