• Changed? NO. "Charged", YES they are built in rechargeable batteries, they get recharged every time you sit them on the base station.

• Only charge when when they go dead, which is a very long time, cost about 120$

• No - they need to be CHARGED. The batteries should recharge over and over for a very long time with no need to replace.

• You just need to keep it in the charger when not in use. I use mine every night for at least 3-4 hours. I have had them for months. I have not had to replace battreries as of yet.

• You don't need to replace the batteries. The MDRRF985RK has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
