Is there a way to connect the system to earbuds? our elderly user finds the ear phones too heavy. Earbuds would solve the problem. She is hard of hearing and these work great except for the weight.

The headphones are half of the device. The volume control and receiver are integrated into the headphones. There is not a way to connect ear buds to the headphones.

No. You can buy blue tooth ear buds if you want, but that's totally different technology.

I have them for the same purpose, but do not think you can connect earbuds, but I may be wrong.

No, there is no audio output jack on the headphones to connect to earbuds. I would try looking into a Bluetooth setup if you want something lighter.

you can get adapters for almost any type of wire. you'd probably be wired to the unit and close to the tv though. just search Audio Adapters on this sight
