• The base unit hooks to your TV by either a mini stereo plug, or RCA plugs. The unit comes with a cable that is mini stereo on one end, and RCA on the other. You can use either end of this cord on the base side, therefore giving you either option for the TV side. Important note: I just bought a new Samsung 8500 smart TV, and there are NO analog outputs on the TV! New TV's are doing away with analog outputs.
