Basically, they are compatible with any MP3, iPod, DVD, or CD players and mobile phones supporting a 3.5mm jack plug. I used them with my voice recorder, old Apple iPod, iphone 6, etc... They seem to sound better on powered devices though, at least it seemed to me as if they did.
