Hi colbaseball, here's the measurement information of the XAVV630BT, dimensions (Approx.) 178 × 101.5 × 169 mm (w/h/d) and mounting dimensions: 178 × 100 × 165 mm (w/h/d). Please check the details of your 1999 Subaru Legacy if they have the same measurements. Thanks! ~Erin
