Just take your receipt to customer service. I did the same and was no issue. That is one thing I like about Best Buy is their great customer service

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar experience. Simply take your receipt to Customer Service and they will refund the difference as long as you are within the return period.
