The longest a friend and I tested the distance between our speakers was 80 feet it was in a parking garage, pretty far and no lag, make sure the speakers are in full charge tho they tend to lag at 10% battery and the best way to connect them is with the Sony music center, make sure they up to date and have your phone close to the speakers
