Sony XP700 by far the best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Dave, Thank you for your inquiry. We cannot make a direct comparison with a non-Sony product, but if you're looking to choose between the SRSXP700 and MHCV71, here is a quick overview between the two portable Bluetooth speakers. The XP700 is built for a venue-filling sound. With Omnidirectional Party Sound provided by the X-Balanced Speaker Unit and the front and rear high-efficiency tweeter, it sends out rich, clear sound in all directions. It’s perfect for parties, inside or outside the home, and has plenty of battery life, is IPX4 Splash resistant and has an easy-to-use handle for moving from one party to the next. You can also optimize audio settings, control music, choose lighting patterns and manage your devices right from your phone using the Sony | Music Center and You can also access fun features like making party playlists, karaoke, and so much more with the Fiestable app. While the MHCV71 speaker features a splash proof panel and easy tilt and roll for portability. Not only is this speaker great for music, it also features football mode for a new type of game watching experience, and connections for easy guitar or mic for karaoke. Download the Sony Music Center app to control your music and sound settings, & the Fiestable app to take charge of karaoke and speaker lighting features To give you party a boost you can also pair up to 50 of the V71 and with Taiko Game mode put your rhythm to the test. Hope this helps! Regards, Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can only speak for the 700 but I bought it for a parade and returned it the next day. Just wasn’t loud enough, and had to be pointed directly at you to hear anything. It wasn’t loud around us and it was the only music around. If in smaller areas or inside, would be fine though even in my living room at max volume it didn’t knock my socks off.
