I have the sony xperia 1 iv and it works with cricket wireless and cricket wireless is owned by at&t and uses at&t network. It will work with tmobile. I even tried my us mobile sim card and it works with us mobile. Us mobile has 2 carriers tmobile and verizon, I used the Verizon version from us mobile. I get 5g on cricket wireless and us mobile. If you are in an area with millimeter wave 5g, you will get millimeter wave 5g from at&t. For cricket wireless, I had the phone switch between basic sub 6ghz 5g and 5g ultrawide will show 5GUWB on the top right corner for very fast speeds and sometimes it will switch to 4g lte in locations that don't have 5g.
