It depends on how large the file is and how you attempt to send it. If it is a large video clip, it will be too large to send via MMS, as would be the case with any other device. The difference is in which carrier you have. Some carriers will automatically upload the full resolution file to a server and will send the recipient a download link, creating a smooth process for sharing uncompressed videos. However, some carriers outright do not support this feature (Such as T-Mobile USA). In that case, it would be suggested to send the full resolution video to the recipient VIA email or file share.
