• Yes it will work but you need to use 2. The set up menu is very easy to use. Just remember to set distance and volume.. very good support speakers for wireless surround.

• Yes it does connect to the NT5. Not sure if you need a pair to do that or you can do it with just one. I have both connected by Bluetooth. You can also connect it by using the app SongPal.

• According to the link provided below it is possible via an app called SongPal Link, check the table for supported models: http://presscentre.sony.eu/pressreleases/sony-debuts-wireless-surround-and-wireless-stereo-functionality-at-ces-2016-1286470 I'm planning to buy these speakers for the same function. They can act as a surround for the TV with the soundbar and then used as a portable speaker on their own or even paired with a similar portable speaker for stereo.
