Hi Danielqk, Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. Your calculation for 770mm as the equivalent of 11x digital zoom is correct. However, this applies for digital zoom on movies only on the ZV1 camera. You have different magnification depending on the image size set on the camera. Regards, Larry Sony Social Support
