• Im using the rode video micro at the moment with no issues. Depending on the length of your 3.5mm cable, you may need a longer one since the hot shoe is kinda on the opposite end of where the mic input is. To control the audio levels you must be in movie mode. From what ive read the limiter is always on so you shouldnt blow out audio too much if you forget to set levels.
