• There is no magnet part, unless you mean the magnet in the front that allows it to wake/sleep the iPad. The back is fully covered, and the folding part is attached about one third of the way from the edge. The folding part then covers the other two thirds of the back, and wraps around to the front.

• There is no magnet on the backside of this case. There is a clip that holds it either open or closed and flat.
