Hi There - Good question! Our Balance Folio for Apple 10.5" iPad Pro and iPad Air is not compatible with Apple keyboard, however, the cover converts into a stand to allow for typing directly on the iPad. Feel free to email customerservice@speckproducts.com for additional information.
