• It would probably need a screen protector it's just a basic cover. No, I don't think it is strong enough to withstand a fall. This is for the Speck folio case

• Yes a screen protector is recommended. I sat on mines briefly and nothing happened and I was also in a car accident and it was perfectly fine.

• This case will definitely not support any falls or prevent damage from a heavy object being placed on top of the device. The only thing this case will help you with is being able to stand the device in portrait mode (only) and prevent scratches when its folded and covering the screen.
