“could this be used for an iphone 6? as in would the cutout cover the camera, and is the bottom open enough for the headphone jack to be useable?”

Yes it can but you have to make sure it’s also for iPhone 6. Some will only be for 7 but look for one that will say it will also fit iPhone 6.

Yes, We've used this case on multiple iPhone 6. Hole for camera is a bit bigger than normal, I'm guessing to fit the iPhone 7 also.

No, I don't think so. There is a different camera size that makes the hole in the case not big enough.

Yes. It still has a jack hole for an audio output. As for the camera I believe so.
