• Hey rog, yes it is rubbery type of material. Mine is black. Very flexible. I did drop the phone about 4 ft. No damage. You could probably find a clamshell online if you Google it, motoz4 phone case. Thanks for the question, RoG.

• It's a full case and the back is plastic with rubber grips. The rubber keeps the phone from being so slick. Hope this helps.
