• No, the case is elevated in the front all around the perimeter of the phone. This will reduce the impact of the drop if it falls face down.

• It does not include a screen saver, and I did not add one. With the use of "Gorilla Glass" these days, I have not seen the need for a screen saver. The screen saver just gets worn, with micro-scratches, and makes me appreciate it when I remove it.
