• The Sphero - R2-Q5 is only app controlled. It does not use a remote.

• The free Force Band deal is only available through the Sphero website when purchasing their droids directly through them. And they have not run a sale for the droid as good as the price from Best Buy. The droid by default is controlled through a mobile phone app.

• I purchased this droid and it works great with the app on my iPhone and iPad. Mine came bundled with the Force Band also but I prefer the app controls. As for a different remote...none came with the droid.

• R2Q5 doesn’t come with a remote, you have to download the Sphero Star Wars app or you can use the Force Band to be able to control it.
