• Splatoon 3 will most likely continue the Splatfests when it is released. My assumption for the bonus Splatfests is that Nintendo wanted the Splatoon fandom to hang on to 2 until they could announce 3.

• They have to make a comeback! Nintendo was trying to end them in Splatoon 2 which probably means they are coming back in Splatoon 3.
