Yes, i replace my old adt cameras with ring and they use the same hole in my soffit. I did use some caulk for a tight seal around the wire to keep bugs out

Your camera can be mounted on an outdoor wall, eave, or overhang. Make sure your camera is positioned close enough to an outlet for the length of the included power cable.
