Where are these made? null

China where else these days? I do not know of another brand this size and will go to 24 degrees. The main consideration is this unit has the old time workhorse for cooling - a compressor. I have the previous edition with manual defrosting for about three years now. I love it and would buy again of course this unit with self defrosting.
