• Yes it will heat water but it needs the hot water from your faucet.

• Yes it will heat its own water but it’s counting on your water to be at least warm. The manual states connect to hot water tap only. It might heat water but it will do this 2 out of the 5 wash and rinse. Another words During main wash and Final rinse are the only times it will heat water.
