I did exactly that. You still need to connect it to the faucet, but I think you could plum it in.

If the DW is below the sink, the pump will have to work much harder. It WILL still work but how long? Also, the dishwasher will be harder for you to load when it sits on the floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dishwasher was designed to sit on the countertop level to the sink with the hoses connected to the kitchen faucet. Any alterations made may affect the lifespan of the dishwasher. The warranty is voided when doing so. However, it can be done. I don’t recommend your handyman doing this. A licensed plumber will know how to make secure connections. They install these dishwashers in RVs often. Keep in mind, if the dishwasher sits on the floor, loading it with dishes will be much harder to do. I put mine on a sturdy table.
