• Yes you can. You can also create categories within the unit, based on what you're selling

• Hi, there! This is currently a feature request. You can assign your purchase number to the transactions under the "Notes" section of your order, but you will not be able to search your transactions by the information in your notes alone. Another option will be to send your customers invoices, in which you can assign a purchase number.
