• This is great for using as a register of all sales but it is much simpler to use for credit cards than the separate scanner or swiper for a phone. Plus this one does touch free as well. I love it.

• Cash register no It does connect to USB cash drawer. It has a hub that can connect to ethernet and other USB devices I believe up to 3.

• we don't have the cash register but we do use other iOS devices, and this just makes it easy to have a portable unit with built in printer if need that too. pretty much a portable all in one unit, that simplified for us having the card swipe/chip/NFC and keypad on diff devices, now all in one.
