“Does this device print barcode/sku labels? Also, I have a new Lenovo Laptop; do I need an I pad or can this terminal do everything just like the Ipad or Iphone? Is there a case & what type of batteries this device uses if I want to use without adapter?”

The Square Terminal does not print barcode labels and does not need a laptop or phone to work. You can print barcode labels with our Square for Retail subscription on the Square Dashboard, but that will be separate from the Square Terminal hardware. The Square Terminal has a battery that is designed to last all day and will charge while plugged into an outlet. There are no cases for the Square Terminal that Square develops, but you are welcome to check out any 3rd party cases for it!
