• A:Answer Yes -- every game currently released is compatible with the original Switch. Some games may not work out of the box with Switch lite (like Super Mario Party) because they require a Joy-con to use, but you can still play them if you connect a Joy-con via bluetooth.

• A:Answer I don't see why not. There's no foul language or suggestive themes. The one concern I might have is that the vehicles explode when they crash, although those are just low-resolution cartoon explosions and are not gory at all. A six-year-old might also find the lack of a tutorial and the higher difficulty levels frustrating. (If one needs to find the controls, they are in the options menu.)
