Most likely they just saw Jar Jar and figured it should be the same price as the deluxe figure. Lazy pricing and we pay the price!

Please try again later.I think someone at best buy might have been confused when pricing this item, if you look at target and walmart you can find jar-jar deluxe versions marked down,(also marked down from 29.99 original price on best buy) but this version is only available at best buy with Mace, Qui-gon, & battle droid on Phantom Menace card back. They had one Jar-jar figure at 29.99 so they must have just assumed the other would be the same price.
