• Answered this for another user as well, but it would be entirely up to the GM at your local Best Buy whether they do one or not, midnight releases are never mandated by Best Buy corporate and they will not provide any extra work hours for them (this was the policy when I worked for the company) so it's unlikely that you will see many stores doing midnight releases unless the GM and manager of gaming are both excited about it and decide to do it.
