Residential, Roam, and Boats. Residential is best used for a home or stationary residence. Roam, is best suited for on the go use with a van or motor home. Boats, is best suited for boats whether on a lake, river, or the ocean. Roam and Boat plans can be used in motion, but residential plans require a stationary satellite.
