Yes, there is a cord connecting the device to your computer's USB socket. I just did a rough measurement (still plugged in) and it's about 39 to 40 inches.

It does come with a ~1M cord. It looks to be a standard usb-large connector usb. I've not tried different cords, but it should work with a good quality replacement cord if 1M isn't long enough.

Hi there - yes pretty sure it comes with cords, and I don't remember the length. It is installed into my desktop computer now and that is why unfortunately I can't give you a definite answer. This is a great hub and I have two now! Sorry this is really not a good answer :-( very truly Robert
