• They are compatible. Though I should have kept mine. The new ones hold more juice I believe.

• They are compatible, but they are not exactly the same. The batteries from my old Nova Pro are "NP-45" and have 700mAh of capacity. The Nova Elite comes with "NP-45A" batteries, which is actually only 670mAh.
