“Why are some Samsung tv’s not able to receive Prime, even with internet access and a subscription to Prime? This info came directly from 3 different Samsung Tech Support Reps. Something about a conflict between companies? Will ROKU override this proble?”

• You can download the prime app on your roku. I have prime, netflix and I stream sling tv thru my roku. Dont have to mess with the apps on tv just use your roku.

• It should, yes. You create a Roku account and then add your apps in there, so it should override the TV settings.

• I should qualify my question by saying our Samsung TVs are not smart tv’s and are not new. I’m not sure this makes a difference when having the ROKU override the tv’s settings. The TVs are not new but they are HD and 1080p.
