The roku is basically flawless ultra fast WiFi tv receiver. It replaces all. As it is you will have many tv watching options. All you need is a decent internet connection. If you do have cable service then you can get rid of the box and save the monthly fee of the box and use roku to access your cable account and watch the same stuff you have the subscription for. I have spectrum. I use the built in spectrum app and it automatically downloaded my settings. Awesome. Picture quality is amazing.
