“Photos show stick plugs into USB port but then battery cable connects the stick to another port. I don’t have the other port, only USB & HDMI. I thought all that was needed was to stick the Roku into the USB port and you’re done. Is this not the case?”

The stick plugs into your hdmi port. One end of the supplied cable plugs into the stick and the other one plugs into your USB port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you need to select the Roku model based on what inputs you have on your TV. The firestick + uses an hdmi input on your TV. You then can power the firestick + with either USB or an included a/c adapter.
