Is this unit the current year, 2019?? null

Not sure if it’s 2018 or 2019, but it is the most recent basic streaming stick from Roku. It has an antenna built into the power cable for improved signal reception from your router, unlike the model 3800.

I believe it is. Make sure you get the 3810 model
