“we have a roku sticke but wanted to get hulu and said it was not availble on our current roku stick. what do I have to buy to get hulu to work? I had agreed to a trial membership and said had to get anothe stick.”

Not sure why your Roku didn't let you do Hulu. I have upgraded several times in the last few years but have had Hulu subscription on every Roku stick I have had.

However, a few older models can only use the "classic" version of the Hulu app, which doesn't support Hulu + Live TV.
