“If the roku is plugged in to an HDMI port behind the TV close to a wall, how well does the remote work? Does it need line-of-sight?”

• It works just fine plugged into the back of the TV set. Line of sight is not necessary at all.

• My Roku sticks are in the back of my TVs and I don't have any issues with the remote control
