“I have trouble using the voice remote. When I ask to SEARCH a specific channel it does not do it. Any suggestions”

If your spoken phrase is not captured correctly, follow the on-screen prompts to try again. Make sure you are speaking as you normally would – there is no need to speak any slower or louder than normal. If you are using a handheld remote, try holding it 2 to 3 inches from your mouth. With a tabletop remote, you should be no more than 2 to 3 feet away. If the issue still persists, try re-pairing the remote control with your device.

If you do not find the action necessary to activate that annoying voice, check the Roku Tips & Hints app located somewhere on the Home page of your viewing device. if that doesn't help, check online Roku- thet stick with you until you can set the remote. IF NONE OF THAT HELPS, get married. She can talk with you throughout the first 5 minutes & tell you everything you will not want to hear. So, pay your money & take the ride.
