• You can't use a USB port, but they do make HDMI to composite video converters (the red, white, yellow RCA type connection) that would allow you to connect an HDMI device like a Roku to an older TV.

• NYGal, The current Roku models have an HDMI connection, there was an Express model a few years ago that used the Red, White and Yellow connection, you might be able to find those online still? A lot of stores sell an HDMI converter to the RCA Type (red, white & yellow) connection if you TV has that.
