The stick stays in the tv. The only thing you would change is the battery in the remote when needed. Everything you need is in box.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Stick doesn't have anything to recharge, it connects the tv to the streaming device. You will have to change batteries when they go dead however. Leave the stick in the HDMI. Everything you need is included in box.
