I believe that is correct. I don't have it in front of me, but you might be able to use headphones with it. We just wanted it so we can play our old cds in our new car. Believe it or not, my husband does not have a mobile phone.

She had no luck with it in or out of the car so I returned it. Amazon had something similar that she could use in and out of the car - she's happy now. Sorry can't be more helpful
