QuestionI just got this and plugged it in the charge the battery. It’s been charging fir 8 hours now and the charging light is still red. Manual says 5 hours should do it. Am I doing anything wrong?

- Answer Hopefully by the time you see this answer it is working correctly. Try a different plug socket or maybe it needs more time to charge. If you never see a green light, I would take it back and have it checked out.

QuestionWhat size batteries does it take and how many

- Answer It doesn't take batteries. It has a built in battery that charges when you plug the boombox into an outlet. Then when fully charged you will see a green light and can unplug and listen to the radio for about 2 to 3 hours, less if you use cd player.
