Q: QuestionCan the pole from this umbrella adapt to fitting into a conventional weighted umbrella stand (sold separately), in order to make this umbrella more stable in the wind?

• A:Answer John, If you purchased the correct base - Offset Umbrella base- which weighs over 120 lbs, then you should not need another base. You can use the cement blocks or heavy stones, but for warranty purposes, we ask that you purchase the correct Offset Umbrella base that is meant for this product.

• A:Answer Dear customer, this product does not come with the Offset umbrella base needed for stability, only the cross base that is part of the frame. You will need to purchase either the cross stones or the plastic models that can be filled with sand or water. We have models 802008 and 802009 available on Best Buy.
