• We watch my tv during the day sometime under my covered patio and the picture is just fine.

• Hi there. Great question. All SunBrite TVs are designed to withstand rain, snow, dust and other harsh outdoor conditions without the need for protection from a cover. However, SunBrite Veranda Series models are made for fully shaded areas. If you opt for a Veranda model, you'll need to install in a shady location (which could include locations where shade has been created by blocking sun exposure with covers, etc.). If your location will receive full sun, we recommend the SunBrite Pro series, and the Signature Series for partial sun applications. Hope this is helpful. Thanks!
