This TV is completely sealed. There is a hinged door with two thumb screws which you loosen so you can plug all your cables into the appropriate ports. Once your cables are plugged in you route them out the bottom of the sealed door and close. It is my understanding the components are IP 65 rated. I have this TV outside and completely satisfied. Hope this helps
